This week brought a bunch of new trailers for Pirates of the Caribbean, Justice League and Spiderman: Homecoming. So obviously I'm gonna talk about them. In the news I've got a man that just wants to display his family pride, some interesting marketing practices, and a phone scammer that really should look into who he's calling. Thanks in no small part to its attractive dress code, Bikini Beans Espresso has become hugely popular. But critics claim that the mandatory dress code of the staff is degrading for women. The owners, many of which are women, claim the “uniforms” actually empower women, helping them feel comfortable in their own skin.
Authorities in Beijing, China, have begun installing high-tech facial scanners at the Temple of Heaven, one of the most popular tourist attractions. The machines prevent users from taking any more toilet paper if they show up again within a certain period of time.
Every year scammers, posed as IRS agents rip people off for millions of dollars. This time they called a police officer and threatened him with arrest for not paying their made up fines. He kept them on the line asking questions to collect evidence of the scam.
